The wonderful Aluflex stacking chair was designed by Armin Wirth for Stollinger und Söhne in 1951. It has become famous for its filigree, timeless design and functionality. It was manufactured by Ph. Zieringer KG.
Armin Wirth was a friend of Rudolf Steiner, the founder of anthroposophy. He designed the wonderful Aluflex chair for the Rudolf Steiner School in Zurich in 1951.
Old originals from the 50/60s.
Awarded "Die gute Form" in 1953.
Laminated wood on an aluminium frame. A chair couldn't be lighter. Is not stacked, but pushed one behind the other.
