A rare side table from Dieter Rams' collaboration with SDR+. The design was created in 2001 in collaboration with Thomas Merkel. The side table is made of 5 mm thick aluminium and is therefore very heavy and stable. In contrast to the table 621 by Vitsoe made of plastic, the table 010 can also be used as a stool. A shelf for magazines is created when both tables are pushed into each other. The production in aluminium was simpler. SDR+ refrained from developing a new tool for table 621.
