The previous owner of this chair was a student of German Architect Egon Eiermann. This Frankfurt architect furnished his architectural office entirely with designs by Egon Eiermann. All of the chairs in this office were made to order with a cover made of genuine leather. We were allowed to view the chairs in his flat in Frankfurt. Afterwards we took them over.

In the classic SE 68 chair, the backrest is connected with a simple steel tube. A very rare version with a spring back and metal rocker is the chair SE 66. The backrest of the chair is adjustable in height. The frame consists of a metal tube and is lacquered white. There is a manufacturer's sticker from Wilde+Spieth on the underside. Only a small number of this chair were made. This is a real rarity.
