Egon Eiermann for Wilde+Spieth

We were able to acquire this rare chair by Egon Eiermann from an employee of an architectural office near Karlsruhe. The walnut veneer surfaces are well preserved. They are expressive.
The handwritten designation 5509 can be seen on the underside. We assume that the chair was manufactured in September 1955.

A true Mid Century Modern design classic.

All screws and buffers are original. The condition is pleasingly good.
