It is possible that Dieter Rams once sat on these stools. The tripod DOTs 3170 by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen come from an ensemble by Fritz Hansen from a family that lived in Otto Zapf's house in Eschborn. The daughter said that Otto Zapf, Niels Wiese Vitsoe and Dieter Rams went in and out of the house.
One stool is 58 years old and was made in 1966, the other in 1967.
The stools are in excellent condition. The teak is completely undamaged. There are very slight signs of wear on the surface, but the overall appearance is completely fine. No chipping or defects. Everything is original, including the rubbers.
