The designer Charles Pollock created the "Model 657" armchair exclusively for Knoll International in the 1960s.

It is one of his most important designs. The chair is exhibited at the MOMA Metropolitan Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Louvre in Paris, among other places.

The Lounge Chair 657 is a true classic of mid-century design.

A reedition has been available from Knoll International since around 2015. Our vintage armchair was manufactured between 1964 and 1979.

The armchair captivates with its minimal appearance. Pollock chose thick leather and steel for his design. The seat is free-swinging and guarantees a high seating comfort.

Frame: legs tubular steel satin chrome-plated, frames and armrests cast aluminium black matt.
Seat and back: Covered with cowhide leather, black, seat cushion covered with black leather.

The overall condition is good. The armchair has been completely cleaned. The leather shows signs of use in the form of craquelure. The cushion filling is soft and elastic.

Ready to use.
