Stefan Wewerka for Tecta

B1 is a three-legged armchair that is the result of a creative collaboration between Stefan Wewerka and Tecta. This asymmetrical chair is the result of the fusion of various chair sculptures.

The B1 is characterised by its stability on three legs, whereby one of the backrests can be used as a practical shelf. The shape and pattern of the fabric encourage the chair to be used in a variety of ways, inviting you to adopt different sitting positions. This is no longer about conventional sitting, but rather about creating different perspectives.

The refined design of the B1, with tapered legs and gentle transitions, emphasises its development into a formally and functionally coherent solitaire. The chair promotes non-hierarchical communication and reflects the standards that other designs by Wewerka for Tecta also fulfil.

The chair is painted white and has a black and white striped upholstery.
