A real rarity is this multi-purpose "Movex" table by Jürg Bally, which was originally manufactured by Bally himself and from 1955 by the WK-Gesellschaft für Wohngestaltung. Horgenglarus had the table reworked by Daniel Hunziker in 2014 and brought up to the latest state of the art. It is offered there under the wonderful name ess.tee.tisch (eat-tea-table, this makes no sense in english, means aesthetic) t-6500.
Our table probably originates from WK's production. The lifting mechanism was new. The table top rests on three crossed legs. With a flick of the wrist, the coffee table becomes a dining table.
The frame is made of cherry wood, the table top of white formica.
