Stored and forgotten - that is the story of these original fibreglass side chairs by Ray & Charles Eames.
The chairs were purchased at the end of the 1960s for a Bavarian girls' school. Subsequently, the school was rebuilt several times and the chairs were discarded and put into storage.
They are the coveted sidechairs with their characterful fibreglass structure, not the new ones made of polypropylene. Made by Herman Miller.
The colour of the chairs is grey with a hint of green = Grey Yellow YG. They look different depending on the incidence of light. A colour that fits into any modern ambience.
Grey Yellow YG was produced in the period 1959-1971. Chairs in this colour were not produced very often.
Not only to be used at the dining table but also as conference chair, seminar chair, event chair. We have a larger lot in our shop.

The chairs are in good condition, used but well cared for. There is no damage such as cracks or chips. The shells have been carefully refurbished and polished. The frames are stable.
All chairs have been completely cleaned and checked by us.
