In the early 1970s, Ernst Moeckl designed the iconic kangaroo or Z-chair for the Horn Collection.
The chair made its debut at the Cologne Furniture Fair in 1972 and became a milestone in furniture design.
The Kangaroo or Z chair is an iconic cantilever chair made of high-quality plastic and manufactured in a single moulding process.As part of the ‘Horn Collection for lively living’, it quickly achieved cult status and is still considered a classic of the 20th century.
The anatomically moulded seat shell and backrest, combined with the skid-shaped legs, offer a high level of seating comfort. The chair is stackable.
