In the 1950s, William Katavolos, Douglas Kelley and Ross Littell designed the T-Chair.
The three designers met at the Pratt Institute in New York. They designed textiles, tableware and furniture for over six years.
The T-Chair is the best-known piece of furniture by the three. It received an award for the best furniture design in the USA in 1952.
The Museum of Modern Art in New York and other museums have the T-Chair in their collections.
The seat and back are made of one piece of saddle leather. The elegant three-legged steel frame is chrome-plated.
